Project Overview:
The Halyard gas field, located in the Carnarvon Basin off the coast of Western Australia, required a modular wing deck extension to enhance operational capacity. The project involved fabricating, assembling, and commissioning a three-level modular wing deck for integration into the John Brookes topsides. Altrad’s (formerly AGC) comprehensive approach ensured timely delivery, seamless integration, and exceptional safety standards for this offshore project.
Scope:
Altrad’s scope of work included:
- Structural and mechanical fabrication of the three-level modular wing deck.
- Mechanical and electrical fit-out of the modules, ensuring functionality and operational readiness.
- Module assembly and testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) assistance.
- Disassembly, preparation for transport, and loadout of the modular wing deck.
- Offshore hook-up of the modular deck to the John Brookes topsides.
- Execution of all activities at Altrad’s Kwinana operations and final assembly, testing, and loadout at AMC Henderson
