Project Overview:
The Blacktip Gas Field is an unmanned offshore platform in the Timor Sea, operated by Santos and supported by Upstream Production Solutions. Since 2015, Altrad has delivered rope access services to ensure the structural integrity and longevity of platform infrastructure. Recently, Altrad completed the blast and painting of the platform’s 500 m² helideck, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Scope:
Rope access services include:
- Scaffolding, rigging, and industrial cleaning.
- Surface preparation, blasting, and application of protective coatings.
Outcomes:
- Successfully maintained the platform’s infrastructure with no LTIs since 2015.
